Maggi Moments and Magic Moments
The day started like any other. The difference, no parents at home when we woke up!. They had driven out to Warnambool to watch brother Cody play basketball. The complete opposite, brother Jake, sat on the couch eating his lunch. He was going to eat cream biscuits and I said : “Eat something proper for lunch!”, He replied with “Yeah, you’re right…” and made himself a cup-of-noodles. I thought, “No, you’re still not there..” but hey it was better. Later, I got a message from Sarah saying she wanted to come around and even do some maths!
Me and Jake played Scene-It until Sarah came around. She came in and the funny thing was that I was saying Ridley Scott for a director on every question that asked “Who directed this movie?”. Of course, I was never right. But Jake got one, that included Gladiator and I knew…. it was Ridley Scott. He couldn’t name him though, what a waste!
Sarah and I spent the day listening to Gyroscope and eating Bountys. Yum and Yum! Then some maths, and I tried to show her a few things about normals, some were successful – but I was so tired that I often confused myself. I hope some of it comes in use for you!
Gran and Pop arrived during the day. Pop was watching Jake play Burnout 3 and smash cars up. Loved it!
Later after dinner (party pies!), Sarah and I sat outside and watched the stars, it was so nice. I can’t wait for it to be summer. Talking about how we will be doing the same at Falls. I miss all the great together time we had under the normal program. It’s all so busy now. Soon though…. busy will be over!
After Sarah went home, I sat outside with Gran and discussed life. For about 2 hours! She was talking about how she had all this Media hanging around her house and street. Why? In small town Winchelsea? It was because of the man who drove the car into a dam and his three sons died. The media had been hanging around ever since, like there is to be some development? We also talked about jobs and other better things.
Gran and Pop absolutely love Sarah, and I spose you can’t blame them!! Pop says “You’ve got a fine dame there..” and Gran says “Lovely young girl… very lucky (or something thereabouts)”. And I do see myself as one of those average guys who got way too lucky. Let’s face it, girls didn’t come knocking on my door (unlike jock brother Cody), but then again I didn’t want them to. I was waiting for that ‘shazam’ girl, luckily I didn’t have to wait long!!
I felt like my life was good before I met her, or it was’ good enough’. Now, it’s totally beyond that. Now I’m being totally spoilt to have her.
Now, I can’t go back…
Peaceout! Everyone, have some fun….
