When we found Motorama

For supermarket shopping we have been doing a mini-trek down to the local Tengelmann past Weißenburger Platz. It was only recently that I decided that I wanted to walk in the other direction to look at the local HIT store. My expectations were that it would be small, but might have a few things that we weren’t able to get elsewhere. It was much closer too, so I was willing to put up with any short comings in exchange for the shorter trek.

I was very wrong. The HIT sign was simply out the front of an entrance for an entire underground shopping complex! HIT, dm, Aldi – they’re all here! The HIT supermarket was huge and had everything we needed (and a lot of bad things that you we didn’t need but grabbed anyway anyway – mainly chocolate).

I have also got onto REWE supermarkets for quick lunches. There is one on ground level of the building I work at. They have a salad bar in the supermarket – perfect for those hangover hunger lunches.
