Evolutions T+ 21 Days

It’s 3 weeks into 2015, and I thought I would check in with those evolutions!

Arrive at work no later than 9:15am everyday

I have only been over this arrival time on one day. I found that sorting out clothes the night before saves that little bit of time that usually makes me a bit late. I’m also putting away my clothes neatly so I don’t have to iron as often. I have been waking up with or before my alarm more consistently – I used to be really bad at snoozing it and waking up way too late.

Study Java outside hours

Haven’t yet. I still have the urge to do it though, which is good.

Run at least twice a week

I have been running the 5KM loop near my house twice a week. I usually run on Tuesday before my conference call with Germany and on Thursday night.

Gym it up on the non-running days at least twice a week

Only been once so far, but am planing to go again this weekend. There have been far too many extra-curricular activities to fit them in, since Sarah is now at home more often (it’s great!).

Haven’t found anything particularly amazing lately. Though, I did get some good quality NFC tags from an Australian company to program on my phone and automate tasks. Doesn’t really count, but that’s about it.

I also re-watched “I Love You, Man” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel”. I have watched a few episodes of “Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, a show with many seasons remaining left to watch – so that’s been added to the watch goals too!

Started reading this again. I tried to take off where I left, but it’s been too long so I had to start again.

Finish listening to the “Get This” podcasts

Still plenty to go, but I have listened to a bunch while sitting outside in the sun in a hammock. It’s a really good relaxing activity. I take more of the podcast in while listening too, since there are fewer distractions.

Play Okami

Nope. Still addicted to Monopoly! I will move on to Okami once I have collected all the “passport stamps” in Monopoly – unlocking all boards. Sarah may be concerned about the amount of Monopoly I have been playing lately…

Finish my game “Sharp Shooter”

I have only worked on this for about an hour this year. I am teeing up a jam session at my brothers house to record some music for it. The rest is game polish and finishing off a few levels.
