It’s a Mild, Mild World

David and I were discussing a hypothetical world where ‘Wild’ was replaced with ‘Mild’. Here are some of the consequences:

• “Man vs Mild” – Bear Grylls demonstrates survival techniques at Nandos
• “Mild Mild West” – the west where everybody carries guns but no one uses them
• “Girls Gone Mild” – inebriated girls show off their knitwear in public places
• “Born to Be Mild” – Steppenwolf sing of a middle-class white accountant
• “Walk on the Mild Side” – Lou Reed tells you, through song, to tone it down a bit
