Keeping up with the Versions

One of my pet hates when it comes to mobile phones – rebranded firmware! Often it’s added rubbish and adds bloat to an otherwise functional firmware. My provider (3 Mobile) hasn’t released a new version of their branded firmware since v11.

The generic firmware now sits at v30! One product code change later, using Nemisis, and I can finally get the v30 firmware. Goodbye to 3 bloatware and hello 19 versions of fixes!
